Details
This is a paid training course open to public safety officials and government employees. After registration, we will validate your eligibility and send you an invoice for $50.00 to cover our cost to host the training. Your training course registration includes entry to vendor day, you do not need to sign up seperately.
NOTE: You can only sign up for one course since they are all occurring simutaneaously.
Overview:  This course is designed to give new 107 certificated public safety remote pilots a basic understanding of how to maneuver the unmanned aircraft. Instructors will use NIST Basic Proficiency Evaluation for Remote Pilots (BPERP) and scenario-based training to build flight muscle memory and general flying skills.
Prerequisites: Remote pilots must have obtained their FAA part 107 certificate and have a small quadcopter with enough batteries to complete all phases of training.
Location: UAS Training Complex (see venue page for map to UTX)
Students will recieve a Drone eXpo t-shirt & certificate of completion at the conclusion of the training. Registration must be completed by November 8th to select a t-shirt size, registrations after that date will recieve a size large.
