Day/Night RPIC

This course is designed to give public safety remote pilots an understanding of how to effectively use the unmanned aircraft in a variety of standard public safety missions during daytime & nighttime conditions. Students will participate in a variety of scenarios to learn vital public safety UAS skills, how to operate in confined spaces and how to effecitvely use the thermal camera under low light or no light conditions.Overview:

Remote pilots must have obtained their FAA part 107 certificate and have a minimum of 10 hours of flight time. Students are required to bring a UAS with thermal capabilities and enough batteries to complete scenarios.Prerequisites:

The classroom part of this training will take place in the Range Classroom. The flight portion will take place at the various locations around the Tactical Training Center.Location:
