David Vaughan

I have been with the Texas Department of Public Safety since December 2012. I joined the District Crash Reconstruction Team in San Antonio in November of 2015. In September of 2022, I was promoted to Sergeant and became a member of the State Crash Reconstruction Team. On the State Crash Reconstruction Team, one of my primary duties is to help train and manage the Texas Highway Patrol Drone Pilots. While in this position, I have assisted with and coordinated the instruction for using the drone for crash reconstruction.
