Jason Burnside

Jason Burnside has been a firefighter with the Austin Fire Department for 12 years and is the Program Manager for the Robotics Emergency Deployment (RED) Team, established in 2014. Jason holds a Private and Remote Pilot Certificate and is the lead remote pilot instructor for AFD. He is a member of the IAFF/IAFC Robotics Workgroup, the Texas Public Safety UAS Working Group, and the City of Austin's Advanced Air Mobility Committee.
