Ryan Stelt

Trooper Ryan Stelt has been a Part 107 licensed pilot with the Texas Department of Public Safety since October 2022. He currently serves as a Field Pilot assigned to the Austin Capitol Region. He has logged over 300 hours of operational flight time within the last two years and is both nighttime and thermal certified.
Trooper Stelt's dynamic field experience includes: Large scale public events; Protest and rallies; Search and Arrest Warrants; School incidents; Hurricanes; Undercover narcotics; and human trafficking operations. Alongside his daily UAS workload, he also serves as a NIST Instructor through the Airborne Public Safety Association and as an RPIC Instructor with his home agency.
